The Committee Championship is a new competition inaugurated this year. The idea behind it is that the winners of the Committee elections each year should play a quick competition between them - simply with three games of 501 each, one against every other player. The winner is the one with the most wins. In the event of a tie, all those tied for the lead play against each other again until there is a clear winner.
