RCSA Defeat ICU Select To Keep Pressure On Top Two

The RCSA team won for the second consecutive week with a convincing display against ICU Select.

The match always promised to be a good one as the two teams came into the game with only a couple of defeats each, but the RCSA team proved to be the stronger and won the match by 7 games to 4.

The match started with the Singles which were shared 3 each, but from thereon in the RCSA were in control, winning two of the three Doubles matches before demolishing the opposition in the team's best ever display in Sixes play to take an unbeatable lead at 6-4. The Captain's Three then won in the final game.

The win puts more pressure on the top two sides, ICU Arrows and Holland Club/RCM. Arrows lead the way on 20 points, but now both the Holland Club/RCM and RCSA teams are close behind on 18 points in what now looks to be a three-horse race for the title.
