RCSA Lose To Holland Club/RCM

The RCSA team lost to the hot favourites, Holland Club/RCM, last night by a scoreline of 7 games to 4.

The team started well, winning the Sixes with an impressive finish by Chae Martyn, but the HC/RCM team struck back immediately, taking all three Doubles games 2-0 to give them a 3-1 lead going into the singles.

The start of the Singles saw the HC/RCM team extend their lead, taking the first two games, before the RCSA finally scored their second point when Rob Park won his Singles game. However, the HC/RCM team then won the match with the next Singles game before Chae Martyn, with a 20-5-bull finish, and Duncan Robertson, with a 15-15-d16 finish, won the final two Singles games.

The Captain's Three was won convincingly by the Holland Club/RCM to round off a disappointing match for the RCSA that effectively ends their remaining hopes of winning the League this year.
