The Summer SKADL Competition started last night with a match between the two teams entered by the Club.
The teams, Old RCS Rovers and Old RCS Wanderers, played their opening match against each other in Southside Bar.
It was a fierce contest, eventually won by Wanderers by four games to three. During the match, Paul Burrows (playing for Wanderers) also threw a 180 to join the elite 180 Club in his first full season in the Club.
The good match has led some to believe that the standard of darts on display would suggest that the teams are in for a better time in this competition than in the main SKADL competition that finished just a few months previously. ago.
